Overview
Kumbhalgarh, also referred to as the Great Wall of India, is a Mewar fortress in the Rajsamand district of the western Indian state of Rajasthan. It is located on the western range of the Aravalli Hills, just 48 kilometers from Rajsamand city. About 84 kilometers separate it from Udaipur. It is a part of Rajasthan’s Hill Forts, a World Heritage Site.
It is also known as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is located at a distance of 80 km from the city of Udaipur. Meanwhile, the height of the fort is close to the Kumbhalgarh Nature Reserve, which is famous for wild boars, sloths, leopards, antelopes, etc. and many species of birds.
