Overview
Sikkim is a well-known tourist destination in North East India. Its breathtaking scenery includes high altitude lakes, rolling green mountains, colourful rhododendron groves, azure rivers, milky waterfalls, beautiful monasteries, and unparalleled views of Mt. Kanchenjunga/Khangchendzonga, the world’s third highest peak.

Gangtok (East Sikkim), Mangan (North Sikkim), Namchi (South Sikkim), and Gyalshing are the district capitals (West Sikkim). The main capital of the state is Gangtok.
