Overview
Indrasan Peak is also known as Climbing Peak. Indrasan was first climbed in 1962 by members of the Kyoto University Alpine Club in Japan after several attempts on different sides of the mountain. A fairly challenging climb over 16 days. This mountain can be climbed from Jagatswu or Chatur. Climb the western ridge and follow the same initial route as the climb to Deo Tiba, the closest to Indrasan. Start your journey from Manali city, drive to Jagatuk village, drive through a series of hairpin turns, and reach the road entrance to Kanor village. It takes three days of trekking over moderate terrain to reach the Tenta base camp. On the way, pass through a dense mixed forest to Chikka, pass through a thinning forest and reach the alpine grasslands of Seri. The surrounding Seri Meadow gives way to Tenta Cliffs and follows a waterfall to reach Base Camp.
