Overview
The elevation of Kotebetta, which is the third-highest peak in Coorg, is roughly 5400 feet. The trail’s breathtaking scenery only heightens its allure. The guided experience lasts for 2 days and 1 night and involves a 16 km trek. At 11 p.m., depart from Bangalore for an overnight trip. Arrive in Madikeri early in the morning, get ready, and eat breakfast at a nearby hotel. Take a bus to Hattihole, where you can start your hike to Kotebetta at nine in the morning. You start out on an asphalted road before gradually moving into the dense forest that leads to the summit.
Visit the Shiva temple in route, take a short break, and indulge in lunch. Set up camp at Kotebetta Peak. Take a moment to relax and take in the stunning sunset. Plan a campfire and spend some enjoyable time. Spend the night in a tent with the stars. Enjoy a stunning sunrise when you awaken. Around 9 am, get dressed, eat a breakfast that you packed, and begin the ascent from the peak. Arrive at Hattihole, then board a bus to Madikeri. After lunch, travel to Namma Bengaluru to arrive at night.
