At a height of 16,207 feet, the Goechala trek offers a close-up view of Mount Kanchenjunga, the third-highest peak in the world. For hundreds of adventure seekers, it is a dream and a desire. Bounded by the captivating flora and fauna, which are so lively and colorful that they can lift one’s spirits.

Itinerary

Day 1 :
Drive from Bagdogra Airport/NJP to Yuksom (5,670 feet)
Day 2 :
Trek from Yuksom to Sachen (7,150 feet)
Day 3 :
Trek from Sachen to Tshokha, elevation 9,700 feet, via Bhakim, elevation 8,600 feet.
Day 4 :
Trek from Tshoka (9,650 feet) to Dzongri (12,980 feet) via Phedang (12,050 feet).
Day 5 :
Trek from Dzongri (12,980 ft) to Dzongri Top (13,675 ft) and back to Dzongri before continuing on to Thansing (12,930 ft) via Kokchurang (12,100 ft)
Day 6 :
Thansing (12,930 ft) – Lamuney trek (13,700 ft)
Day 7 :
Trek from Lamuney (13,700 feet) to Goechala (15,100 feet), then back to Kokchurang (12,100 ft)
Day 8 :
Trek from Kokchurang (12,100 feet) to Tshoka (9,650 feet) via Phedang (12,050 feet).
Day 9 :
Trek from Tshoka (9,650 ft) to Yuksom (5,800 ft) via Bakhim (8,600 ft) and Sachen (7,200 ft)
Day 10 :
Departure from Yuksom
