The adrenaline-pumping Gaumukh Tapovan climb offers breathtaking views of the cow-shaped Gaumukh Glacier, which serves as one of the main springs for the holy Ganges. Gangotri to Dehradun road trip
Day 2 :
A six-hour trek connects Gangotri (3,048 m) with Chirbasa (3,600 m)
Day 3 :
3-hour trek from Chirbasa to Bhojbasa (3,800 m)
Day 4 :
Bhojbasa to Gaumukh (3,900 m) to Tapovan (4,335 m) – 7 hour trek
Day 5 :
Day of rest in Tapovan (4,463 m)
Day 6 :
Tapovan to Bhojbasa: 5 to 6 hours
Day 7 :
5-6 hours from Bhojbasa to Gangotri
Day 8 :
Drive between Gangotri and Dehradun
