Overview
The only hill station in Rajasthan is Mount Abu, which is located on a mountaintop at the southernmost tip of the Aravali Hills, surrounded by verdant greenery. Due to the presence of the 289-kilometer Mt. Abu Wildlife Sanctuary, which covers the majority of the mountain from an elevation of 300 metres upwards, the town is surrounded by a rich density of flora and fauna. Locals and hermits use the majority of the forest’s plants for their medicinal properties to create Ayurvedic medicine.
