Overview
One of the most difficult peaks to climb in the Gangotri Massif, Gangotri 3 Peak rises from the Rudragailah Bamak Glacier with Mount Rudragailah on its right and the mighty Oden Kor on its left. Gangotri 3 Peak presents quite a challenge as the summit camp is at the foot of an avalanche-prone slope. Therefore, there is no step in the sudden snow when advancing to the summit, and an avalanche does not occur. After the crevasse traverses, there is a nearly 80-degree incline that must be climbed before reaching the summit.
