Itinerary
When you arrive at Mumbai International Airport, meet our representative who will greet you and drive you to your pre-booked hotel. Relax and spend the night in Mumbai.
After breakfast, go to the Haji Ali Dargah Sharif, an Indo-Islamic shrine located on an island. The Dargah Sharif is home to the Muslim saint Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari’s tomb. According to legend, Haji Ali died while on a pilgrimage to Mecca, but his casket miraculously floated back to this location. Visit Marine Drive after visiting the dargah. Visit Mama Haji Ali Dargah Shariff and Makhdoom Shah Dargah later. Visit the Prince of Wales Museum, High Court of Bombay (drive past), University of Bombay (drive past), Crawford Market, Hanging Gardens, Dhobighat, Gateway of India, and Gandhi Memorial Museum in the second half. I later went back to the hotel. Stay in Mumbai for the night.
After breakfast, drive to Mumbai airport to catch a flight to Delhi. Our representative will meet you at the airport and transport you to the hotel. Stay in Delhi.
After breakfast, we will embark on a full-day city sightseeing tour of Delhi, stopping at the Red Fort, Humayun’s Tomb, Jama Masjid, Lodhi Tomb, Safdarjung Tomb, Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya, and Qutub Minar. Later, I returned to the hotel for the night. Stay in Delhi for the night.
Today, after breakfast, check out and drive to Ajmer. After checking in, go to Dargah Shareef, Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra, and Ana Sagar Lake, among other places. Stay in Ajmer for the night.
After breakfast, take the train to Agra. On the way, I stopped at Fatehpur Sikri, Emperor Akbar’s sandstone city. Visit Jama Masjid, Buland Darwaza, the world’s largest gateway, Birbal Bhavan, Jodha Bai’s historical palace, and Panch Mahal. Later, proceed to Agra. Check into the hotel once you arrive. Stay in Agra for the night.
I went to the Taj Mahal at dawn today. The Taj Mahal, a white mausoleum and one of the world’s seven wonders, was built in memory of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan’s beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal and took 22 years to complete. One of the world’s seven wonders is a white mausoleum. Return to the hotel for a freshen-up and breakfast after your visit. After breakfast, go to the Agra fort, which Akbar built in 1565 as a military fortress. The Fort was constructed of red sandstone. Visit Itimad-ud-Tomb, Daulah’s also known as the Baby Taj, which was built by Emperor Jahangir’s queen, Nur Jahan, in memory of her father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg, between 1622 and 1628 A.D. This mausoleum, built of white marbles and inlaid with semi-precious stones, has a strong Persian influence. Later in the afternoon, I drove to Delhi, stopping en route to see Emperor Akbar’s mausoleum, Sikandra. I will continue to drive to Delhi. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Stay in Delhi for the night.
After breakfast, proceed directly to the airport to board the flight to Lucknow. When you arrive at the airport, you will be transferred to the pre-arranged hotel. Stay the night in Lucknow at a hotel.
After breakfast, spend the day sightseeing in Faizabad. Visit Fort Calcutta, the Shuja-ud-Daulah Mausoleum, the Bahu Begum Mausoleum, and the Moti Mahal. I later went back to the hotel. Stay in Lucknow for the night.
After breakfast, depart for a full-day sightseeing tour of Lucknow, including stops at Hazratganj Market, the 1857 Memorial Museum, Juma Masjid, Sikander Bagh, Shah Najaf Imambara, Rumi Darwaza, Taluqdar Hall, Kaiserbagh Palace, Husainabad Clock Tower, Begum Hazrat Mahal Park, Aminabad, Bara Imambara, Chattar Manzil, Moti Mahal I later went back to the hotel. Stay in Lucknow for the night.
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Mumbai. When you arrive, our representative will meet you and transport you to the hotel. Check into the hotel upon arrival. The rest of the day is free to wander around the market. Stay in Mumbai for the night.
After breakfast, transfer to the Mumbai International Airport to board your flight to your next destination.
